Jacqueline has a Masters Degree, with Honours, in English Literature and Language, with a minor study in linguistics. Gained at Edinburgh University, this study sees her well qualified in her work as a writer, editor and proofreader.

She has over 15 years commercial experience in writing business proposals, company profiles, website copy, scripts and creative concepts as well as proofreading all of the above and more recently has moved in to graphic design to complement the writing.

Her first piece of youth fiction, The Rainbow Necklace, is due for publication in April 2011.

She says, “I am passionate about both writing and reading, and love nothing more in the morning than a blank page accompanied by a good brief. I am creative with a great imagination and will strive to find the best way to get your message across, whatever the format or content.”

When she is not writing, Jacqueline explores her creativity through music.  She sings and plays bass with a Cairns based acoustic trio, runs and directs a community choir called Soul Song and even teaches piano.

In her spare time (!) she is a wife and mother of two young children.
